The Challenge

As a financial services provider, our customer operates in an environment that is both highly regulated and increasingly exposed to cyber threats. With the introduction of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act), requirements for digital resilience have increased further – particularly in the areas of ICT risk management, continuous monitoring, incident detection and response, and the management and documentation of cyber risks.
It was therefore clear to the customer that traditional endpoint security alone was no longer sufficient. They needed a solution that combined modern technology with professional 24/7 monitoring and response to cyber threats – without having to build and operate an in-house Security Operations Center.

Our Solution

Following extensive consultation and a joint evaluation of various scenarios, the customer chose the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. In addition to CrowdStrike’s strong reputation and technological capabilities, the decision was driven by the platform’s holistic approach and its ability to integrate key security functions.
Together, we implemented an integrated security architecture consisting of:
  • Falcon Complete for 24/7 Managed Detection and Response
  • Managed Identity Protection to protect identities and privileged access
  • Next-Gen SIEM for the centralized detection, correlation, and analysis of security-relevant events
  • Exposure Management for the continuous identification and prioritization of vulnerabilities and risks

The Result

Instead of relying on individual security tools, the customer now benefits from an integrated security approach monitored around the clock.
The new architecture supports the financial services provider in addressing its regulatory requirements while also strengthening its operational cyber resilience: threats are detected more quickly, risks are prioritized more transparently, and security incidents are handled professionally – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The key benefit: Regulatory requirements were the initial driver. The result is a security architecture that provides the organization with significantly greater protection and operational capability in the face of an increasingly dynamic threat landscape.
